Hello,

The way the decision process works here at USC for applicants applying
into
the art major is a two-step approach: first, the faculty at the School
of
Fine Arts reviews your supplemental application and artwork. That
recommendation is then sent to USC Admissions and they look at your USC
application (not the artwork part) and make the final determination.

So USC Admissions does have the final say; however, they do not deny
any of
our applicants outright without consulting with us first.
